Splitting on Saturday

A couple of Saturdays ago Kaydie rented a log splitter and we all got involved.  It was fun, satisfying work and so nice to all be outdoors together.  SK was pumped.

It is fun dressing a girl!  :)

Kaydie & Hots ran the the splitter pretty much the entire time (when L & SK weren't taking a turn) while I cut more logs.

Nobody gets a free ride around here!

This girl-Ha!  She needed her "scoon skin hat" to deliver firewood to Kaydie's.

We finished all the wood just in time for our twenty-degree days and have thoroughly enjoyed having a fire in the fireplace.  Fun times!
