Missy Yellow the Bird Dog

Super cute...

...and super SWEET!!!

That's right!  Missy was in possession of a bird when I looked outside this afternoon.  A woodpecker to be exact.  (We have some work to do with her as far as what's legal and what's not.)

Did Super Missy the Wonder Bird Dog stalk the woodpecker, waiting for a slip in it's predator awareness, then jump up and grab it with her teeth mid-air?

Or did Missy, the almost-3-month-old puppy-with-no-training simply happen upon a casualty of our picture window out back?

We'll never know, so we're giving her credit for possibility #1. She is, after all, supposed to be a bird dog and now we know she has a taste for them.  :)
