Thanks, kid

Earlier this week J was excited to report he'd made a 100 on his math benchmark test.

Of course I was proud of him and praised him, telling him I was impressed with his grade and appreciate that he works hard and does well in math since math never came easily for me.

His immediate response: "Well it's not an inherited trait, Momma."

Well that may be true but having a fabulous sense of humor is an inherited trait and he can thank me for that.
