Bragging on Jack

We were invited to J's school awards ceremony a couple of weeks ago.  It was so nicely done and fun to watch the kiddos sit (still & quietly!) and clap for their peers.  

Here's J headed up front to get his Student of the Six Weeks certificate!  We are so proud of him.  :)  

He was also awarded for his perfect attendance for the first 2 six weeks.  

Special guests were Kaydie & Grandmama.  We're LOVING having them here!  L was pretty proud of his big "bwudduh," too.  :)

And while we're on the topic of J and his accomplishments, I had to include these pics from his last football game.  He was so excited about his trophy.  

                                               

If the highlight of the season wasn't half-time snacks, it must have been the trophy.  

Hots coached the last game and helped coach most of the other games.  It was a challenge, but I somehow managed not to wolf whistle or yell, "Go Hots!"  No promises in his future coaching endeavors.  ;)

He's such a good daddy & quite the coach.  :)

We all really enjoyed his first flag football experience and are looking forward to both boys playing basketball in the spring.  (I'm pretty much beside myself!)
