Jack was on a mission to 'pet' a steer. Last time we were out the steer were so curious about Jack that they came right up to him and he actually did pet one. These were a little wary.

Here he started mooing at this particular steer, then went into song, "with a moo moo here, and a moo moo here" (He says 'here' twice, not 'there'.). Alas, the steer was not intrigued and gave Jack the slip as he fled back to the herd.

Fortunately there was horseback riding soon after. Luke wasn't really into it, but Jack couldn't get enough. B took him for a
long ride on Wixon, then we snapped a few of Luke on board before Kaydie and I took him on another jaunt.

Getting a good pic of a baby and a toddler on a horse is challenging to say the least. I chose this one b/c no one is crying, the boys aren't looking opposite the camera (they were in at least 3 of the other pics), and Wixon's ears aren't back. Oh, well, you get the idea.

Down at the creek we snapped a few more. Right after I said, "Look over here and smile," Jack repeated the command word-for-word to Wixon. See him pointing toward the camera?

Thank you, Wixon, for cooperating. Jack, however, was too busy making sure Wixon was smiling to smile at the camera himself.
Run, Chicken, Run!Can you spot the chicken? Jack wanted to 'ketch' it.

Talk about terrifying. Poor chicken.

I'm happy to report that the chicken got away.
