Saturday was the annual Spring Working at the Peters' ranch. We absolutely LOVE this event and had just as much fun this year as we have over the past 10 years. Jack had a blast. Absolute paradise for kids...and me, too!
Mr. Peters with Jack

What a wonderful Christian man who has to be the most patient person I know. He has been a cowboy and a rancher for his entire life and is always generous (and eager to share, I think) with his ranch, his time, and the animals who live there. He cares greatly for his animals and is always up for a good time. (Think chasing wild hogs on horseback on our way to gather cattle and sending Brian into the pen with a bull and a bucket of feed...while he sat on the fence and watched-Ha!)
Mrs. Peters was inside cooking it up. This sweet, sweet lady sure can cook! She is patient, kind, and very wise. I just love visiting with her. :) She and Mr. Peters treat us like family and we are incredibly blessed to be a part of their lives.
My own personal cowboy-the hot one about to throw down on that calf; and this was one of the smallest he threw. :)

Taking care of business-showing the guys how it's done.

Take note, boys!

Jack on Wickson (who should really have a post of his own; Wickson, that is)

If it's possible to have too much fun, Jack sure did.
