Right after Christmas, Brian and several of his colleagues got the opportunity to start a bank here in town. It is a great opportunity for him to get back into the community banking business, which he loves. The start up of this bank is keeping him very busy, but he is enjoying it immensely.
It was so nice to have Brian home for a few days while he was in between jobs. (We were, for the first time, officially a "no income" family for almost a week!) I loved having him at home and Jack did, too. We took the time to walk at Lick Creek Park, where the dogs can run, swim, and have a great time. The weather was beautiful and it was nice to be outside.
Jack is 8 months old now, has 5 teeth, and is constantly on the move. He is trying to pull up, but hasn't quite gotten it yet. What a fun stage! Last week he and I went to Whitehouse to visit my mom, sister, grandmother, and aunt. We had a great time visiting, shopping, and relaxing a little in between.
It was great to see everyone.
While we were there, Aunt Kathey decided it was time for Jack to have some ice cream. So, here is a picture of his first ice cream cone. Of course, he loved it! (Look at the couple behind us.)
