The garden has done pretty well this year.  I've improved my weed control but my security system failed several times resulting in disastrous attacks by both goats and fowl.  The chickens pecked every single tomato on their level which was most of the crop.  The goats ate every leaf on my grapefruit tree and both spinach plants (which are of the climbing variety and do not have good flavor...to people, anyway) and 1/3 of my heirloom bean plants.  Why oh why didn't they attack the fig tree?!  Oh, and they ate 3/4 of the leaves off of our blackberry plants.  The poor things look naked.

Our potato crop was a good one!  Here are a few of them nestled in this beautiful vine that would cover my garden fence if the goats had an aversion to it.

We also had a surprise crop of baby goats-seven of them!  For the past three years our goats have kidded once a year and within a week or two of each other.  Five nannies had babies a month ago just six months after their winter babies.

Belinda had twins!

This photo was taken early one morning when her twins were a day or two old.  I think Belinda had a rough night.

Always something going on at the farm!  For now we're getting outside early, before it gets too hot, spending a lot of time at the pool with friends, and staying inside until the sun goes down.
