Snow!

We had a HUGE treat while in Dallas for Christmas-Snow!  It rained all morning on Christmas Day, so the boys had to ride their new scooters under the porte-cochere.  We felt badly that they couldn't ride all over the driveway, but they were happy, happy, happy (as Phil would say) and stayed out in that freezing weather for almost 2 hours with no gloves.  Thank goodness Santa brought them new hats!

Shortly after they came inside for lunch it started snowing and snowed for hours.  It was beautiful!  After naps they headed back outside to play in the snow, which had piled up nicely or 'stuck', as we say in TX.  Notice how few footprints you see in this pic.

Where's Waldo-Can you see both boys?  (I was FREEZING and snapped a quick pic from the house while  B stayed outside to supervise b/c of the pool.)

 They did this the whole time they were outside.  Some serious energy burning going on.

They didn't know what to think about making snow angels.  I think it was too still for them.

This cracked me up-Look at the hundreds of little boy footprints in the snow.  They did this all by themselves in only 15 minutes.  This is what we boy moms are working with! 

We had such a nice time in Dallas w/ B's fam.  :)  And now, Happy New Year!
